The team at Sound Garage have been getting a lot of questions regarding the “HALO” 9” tablet-style display screen unit recently launched at 2018 CES consumer electronics show in Las Vegas, as to availability in Australia.
We are extremely pleased to say that yes we do have an Australian version of the Alpine Halo9 iLX-F309E in store now, with stock available now. (The first 2 shipments went with in an hour of hitting our floor)
WHAT IS HALO?
The answer to the biggest question in audio visual since the launch of our original “BIG X” large screen displays 10 years ago “how do I get a big screen in my vehicle?”
The Alpine HALO9 enables installation in vehicles previously restricted to only a traditional single or dual-din so that virtually any so-equipped vehicle can be upgraded to a massive 9” display, not just a small 6" or 7" Double Din or the clunky motorised option!
HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?
NOT ALL CARS HAVE PERFECT F.I.T KITS AVAILABLE SO UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE TO TELL MANY CUSTOMERS THEY CAN’T HAVE A LARGE SCREEN INSTALLED.
The Alpine Halo9 unit has a single din body with a unique adjustable screen enabling adjustment of reach, height and angle for the huge 9” display to clear air vents and switching giving you a large amount of variations on screen positioning.

HUGE 9” Capacitive WVGA High Resolution Display of course as only ALPINE can offer. Android Auto and Carplay connectivity. Bluetooth. DAB plus digital radio. HDMI input (for use with optional DVE-5300 or from a PKG-RSE3HDMI). reverse camera connection. GLONASS / GPS antenna system to extend GPS range.
