The Alpine iLX-407A is the next evolution of the PowerStack™ DAB+ receiver with DAB+, Bluetooth, HDMI, and UART Compatibility for the ultimate sound system builder.
Alpine's iLX-407A is designed to deliver a perfect smartphone experience while releasing an array of audio-visual and connectivity capabilities in a 2.4" deep chassis.
With its excellent display and smartphone-like gesture control, you are able to easily navigate the system and personalise the screen to your liking. You can arrange over 29 available widgets, adjust the GUI colour, and even add your own wallpaper using drag-and-drop motions.
With DAB+ digital radio, USB music and video, HDMI and Dual Camera input, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, you can stream all of your favourite smartphone music and navigation applications to the dashboard.
The Built-in DAB+ digital radio tuner lets you enjoy radio stations with excellent sound quality, while the high-speed charging function for smartphones ensures that your phone battery is rapidly charged.
Bluetooth audio streaming allows everyone in the car to contribute with their phones and music to the party on the road.
The unit features a very shallow installation depth of only 6 cm, which allows installation even in vehicles without full DIN-sized installation docks.

APPLE CARPLAY
The Alpine iLX-407A “Works with Apple CarPlay” and lets iPhone users make and receive calls, access text messages, play music, and get directions in a way that allows them to stay focused on the road. Apple CarPlay is accessed through the capacitive touch screen or the mic button to activate Siri voice control and is compatible with iPhone 5 and later (iPhone must be connected via Apple lightning cable).
ANDROID AUTO
The Alpine iLX-407A includes Android Auto and works with the Google Assistant (requires both a USB cable and Bluetooth® connection; requires an Android™ phone running 5.0 [Lollipop] or higher and the Android Auto app). To access the Google Assistant on Android Auto, say "OK Google" or select the mic button. Google Assistant in Android Auto allows users to play their favourite music, get driving directions to their destination, interact with smart home devices and reply to text messages – hands-free.
Smartphone Navigation
Use your Alpine iLX-407A with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto compatible navigation apps to get you to your next adventure. There are many excellent navigation apps available (such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, etc) that also include live-traffic information and advanced search functions.
Sygic
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allow the user to effortlessly command directions through voice control, allowing you to get from A to B with an accurate arrival time and turn-by-turn instructions. Plus, make a booking or call ahead with the location contact feature.
Waze
Available when using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the Waze app provides a unique navigation experience offering alternative routes to save you time. Waze also provides real-time feeds reported by fellow Waze users to inform them of upcoming traffic, road hazards, camera alerts and police stops.
Built-In DAB+ (Digital Radio Tuner)
The built-in DAB+ tuner uses the most advanced digital technology to deliver radio reception with outstanding, noise-free sound quality. DAB+ also offers many other advantages over traditional FM radio: choose from a much wider range of radio stations and after the initial station scan easily select your desired channels from an alphabetic or genre list of available stations.
Audio Streaming Apps
With Apple Music onboard for Apple CarPlay you have access to 60+ million ad-free songs at your fingertips which you can search genres, artists, podcasts and expertly crafted playlists. With Apple CarPlay and the VOX app enjoy Hi-Res music and audiophile sound as the artist intended.

Tidal
While using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the Tidal app lets you stream your favourite songs in high quality audio. With over 60 million songs available to stream or download you have endless music options, plus you can stream guest playlists curated by the artists you love and listen to original playlists hand-picked by the Tidal experts. Tidal is a paid subscription.

The Alpine iLX-407A is equipped with a customisable user interface allowing almost limitless screen configurations. Whether it’s listening to the radio or streaming music through Bluetooth, the widgets can be arranged in a way that best suits users' needs. Create up to 3 customised home screens by choosing from 29 widgets including Clock, USB images, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, “Now Playing”, Sources, Camera, and Bluetooth functions—that can be easily dragged and dropped onto the page.

Shallow Installation Depth
The Alpine iLX-407A’s chassis is only 6 cm deep, allowing it to be installed even in vehicles with a 2DIN radio dock without full DIN size depth.
