Introducing the Alpine BRV-S65 BassRev Speakers, born from Alpine’s decades-long expertise in acoustic engineering and featuring all-new HEDGE technology. This advanced design delivers tight, controlled bass frequencies while preserving Alpine’s signature clarity, accuracy, and precision.
At the heart of the BassRev design, Alpine has redefined audio component engineering through exclusive, purpose-built technology. The lightweight yet extremely robust polypropylene cone works in unison with Alpine’s HEDGE surround and a high-density magnet structure to increase sound pressure levels and woofer excursion. As a result, the system delivers precise control, punchy mid-bass, and deep, authoritative low-end performance, even at high SPL.
Meanwhile, the 1-inch soft dome tweeters provide a smooth yet highly detailed high-frequency response. The low-mass polyester diaphragm, combined with Neodymium magnet technology, ensures crisp articulation and accurate reproduction of upper harmonics without harshness.
Furthermore, the Alpine BassRev Series is available in an extensive range of component and coaxial speaker configurations, making it an exceptionally versatile solution. BassRev 2-Way 6.5″ Coaxial Speaker Set
BRV-S65 is the 2-Way Coaxial Speaker model of the all-new for 2025 BassRev Series speaker collection. Featuring a 6.5-Inch door woofer, and a 1-Inch integrated tweeter with up to 20kHz frequency response. Suitable for replacement of many factory speakers.
HEDGE Surround
Alpine’s all-new HEDGE surround structure (High Excursion Design Gathered Edge) is engineered to dramatically increase sound pressure, allowing maximum bass performance in the 40Hz – 80Hz range. BRV-S65 can achieve a maximum linear excursion peak of 28mm and, as a result, delivers powerful, deep bass you’ll be sure to feel.
Polypropylene (PP) Woofer Cone
Lightweight, yet incredibly rigid, BRV-S65 employs a Polypropylene woofer cone that resists resonance and unwanted vibrations. Engineered for peak performance, BRV-S65 maintains structural integrity even at high excursion levels, allowing for smooth, clean, and balanced sound reproduction.
Large Driver Magnets
The large Strontium Ferrite magnets housed on the back of Alpine’s BRV-S65 BassRev speakers mean business. Combined with large 40mm voice coils and Alpine’s HEDGE Surround, delivering substantially increased cone excursion and driver force providing louder, punchier sound.
Integrated 1″ Polyester & Neodymium Soft Dome Tweeters
BassRev’s Polyester low-mass tweeters reproduce subtle transients and micro-details with precision. Enjoy wide, smooth and immersive highs with prominent staging capabilities all in a compact 1″ size. BRV-S65 tweeters feature Neodymium magnets – one of the most powerful magnetic materials available. Neodymium delivers exceptionally clean, articulate high-frequency reproduction with precision.
Seamless Tweeter Fitment in OEM Locations
To begin with, you can simply remove the tweeter housing and trim ring included with the BassRev tweeter to minimise its overall size and diameter. As a result, the tweeter becomes compact enough to fit seamlessly into many OEM tweeter locations, including A-pillars, mirror triangles, and door sail panels, allowing for a clean, stealth-style installation that preserves the factory appearance.

Revolutionary OPTIM™Sync Technology
BassRev components utilise Alpine’s all-new proprietary bass algorithm, known as OPTIM™Sync. This innovative algorithm is preloaded in the integrated DSP amplifier for subwoofers and is also accessible for BassRev speakers via the OPTIM™8 DSP Amplifier.
At its core, OPTIM™Sync intelligently applies a dynamic bass boost. Additionally, it features pre-EQ tailored specifically for each BassRev audio component. Consequently, this technology safely extends low-end performance while smoothing tonal balance, thereby unlocking their full potential.
As a result, the system delivers a larger-than-life sound that a standard speaker alone simply cannot match. Moreover, it pushes harder where it counts while still remaining controlled and composed.
