Introducing BassRev – Born from Alpine’s decades-long expertise in acoustic engineering, featuring all-new HEDGE technology to deliver controlled bass frequencies while preserving Alpine’s signature clarity and precision.
BassRev redefines audio component design through all-new Alpine technology and engineering. The exclusively designed polypropylene cone is extremely robust and lightweight, and it further complements Alpine’s all-new HEDGE surround and dense Magnet structure to achieve increased sound pressure and excursion of the woofer diaphragm, resulting in precise control, punchy sound, and deep bass at high SPL.
Developed with 1” soft dome tweeters, BassRev yield a stunningly detailed yet smooth upper harmonic range. The low-mass polyester tweeter diaphragm, combined with Neodymium magnets, ensures high frequencies are articulated with precision.
With an extensive range of components and coaxial speakers, the new BassRev Series is a highly versatile speaker line-up, allowing for direct factory speaker replacement in a wide variety of vehicles.
HI-RES AUDIO CERTIFIED
The Alpine BRV-S65C 6-1/2" component speakers are an excellent way to add life to your sound. In fact, they're Hi-Res Audio Certified by the Japan Audio Society (JAS). These component speakers include a pair of mid-bass woofers and a pair of 3/4" tweeters that Alpine has designed and tested to maximize the Optim DSP output from select Alpine amplifiers. The 6-1/2" mid-bass driver has a HEDGE (High Excursion Designe Gathered Edge) surround, a new design from Alpine for a multi-roll surround with a corrugated design, so the stress is spread across the ribs you see in the image below, acting like an expansion joint that lets the cone travel without stretching the surround too much. This design is usually found on high-excursion subwoofers, where a speaker needs long travel and excellent control.

BassRev’s low-mass polyester tweeters reproduce subtle transients and microdetails with precision. Enjoy expansive, smooth and immersive highs with prominent staging capabilities all in a compact 1″ size. BRV-S65C tweeters feature Neodymium magnets – one of the most powerful magnetic materials available. Neodymium enables immaculate, articulate high-frequency reproduction with precision.
SEAMLESS TWEETER FITMENT IN OEM LOCATIONS
You can remove the tweeter housing and trim ring included with the BassRev tweeter to minimise its overall size and diameter. The tweeter itself is then compact enough to fit it in many OEM tweeter locations (inside A-pillars, mirror triangles or door sail panels) for a stealth install. Preserving OEM design cues with minimal to no modification required.

The specialised lapel cone shape increases cone height and travel, giving the woofer more linear excursion than traditional designs. That extra well controlled movement delivers stronger low end output while keeping the midrange clean and focused. Music feels fuller and more dynamic, and voices and instruments stay clear even at higher volumes.
RIGID, REFINED BUILD
Crafted to perform and last, the polypropylene/mica cone holds its shape for tight bass and natural mids. A durable gun metal topcoat adds a premium finish and shrugs off daily wear.
