Ultra High-Resolution Audio Processing
At the core of the HDP-D90 DSP Amplifier, Alpine integrates a powerful digital signal processing platform that delivers precision and control. The unit operates at a 192kHz / 32-bit internal sampling rate and covers an ultra-wide frequency response of 10Hz–110kHz, ensuring accurate reproduction of high-resolution audio content.
Furthermore, Alpine enhances performance by incorporating a copper-plated chassis, which increases the signal-to-noise ratio to greater than 110dB while reducing noise and distortion during playback.
Drawing directly from the AlpineF#1Status Master Clock architecture, Alpine equips the HDP-D90 with a Crystal Oscillator Clock Generator that precisely synchronises digital signals. This technology eliminates jitter (timing errors) and ensures clean, accurate sound reproduction.
Alpine HDP-D90 (HI-RES AUDIO DSP AMPLIFIER)
This Alpine DSP Amplifier uses many components and technologies of the Alpine F#1 Status processor for audiophile sound quality. Input and output capabilities make the Alpine HDP-D90 super flexible. Running an internal sampling rate of 192kHz / 24bit and featuring a 14 Ch 31 band P-EQ. As well as 3 Way Cross Overs, and 12 Ch digital time correction with 7mm steps adjustment.
Audiophile Sound Quality
The Alpine HDP-D90 features an ultra wide Hi-Res Audio bandwidth of 10Hz to 110kHz. Very low phase shift and distortion ensure high quality static performance and great imaging. The copper-plated chassis and other features bring the signal-to-noise ratio to >110dB.
Each digital component processes digital signals using a different clock (timing). Causing slight signal misalignment, known as jitter, during audio data transmission. This jitter distortion reduces the sense of realism in the music.
In the case of 192kHz/24-bit audio, even a slight amount of jitter cannot be overlooked. This means that a high degree of precision is required between the Head Unit, which sends the digital music data. And the DSP Amplifier, which receives the data and performs the sound tuning. The Alpine Status system uses an extremely high precision clock. Having the same high specifications as top grade home audio components, for both the Head Unit and the DSP Amplifier. Ensuring the most compatible and accurate data transmission.

Active & Passive Outputs
You can use the DSP amp in passive configuration, connecting external amplifiers to the 10-channel PreOuts, or directly connect it to your vehicle’s speakers and subwoofers using the built-in 12-channel amplifier (featuring 8x 50 Watts + 4x 80 Watts @ 4 Ohm, 14,4V). You can also bridge the 80 Watt outputs to 2x 160 Watts

Matrix Input Summing
Matrix input summing allows you to combine several speaker-level channels on the input side to repurpose them in different configurations on the output side. This lets you continue to use your original radio with its fixed speaker output channels while building an entirely different amp and speaker system in your vehicle.
STATUS ULTRA-PROCESSING POWER
Purpose-built for Hi-Res Audio playback, the Alpine HDP-D90 has a 192kHz / 64Bit internal sampling rate and an ultra-wide audio bandwidth of 10Hz - 110kHZ for recording studio level sound.
Internal designs, like copper-plated chassis, bring the signal-to-noise ratio up to >110db and minimise noise and distortion during playback for complete music fidelity that's true to the source.
STATUS SYSTEM FLEXIBILITY
The Alpine Status HDP-D90 includes multiple source inputs for flexible system building for the option to retain a factory head unit, add an aftermarket head unit, or the Alpine Status HDS-990 Digital Media Controller. For older vehicles with no source player, the Alpine Status HDP-D90 can also function as a standalone music source and receiver for music sent directly from a smartphone with Bluetooth® wireless streaming.

Included Bluetooth Dongle
If you run the Alpine Status HDP-D90 as a stand-alone DSP amp (without the HDS-990) and you want to stream audio files via Bluetooth. You can simply connect the included Bluetooth dongle.
It is a simple plug-and-play connection and gives you a 10m range for connection to your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled audio player.
Studio Recording Spec
Alpine Status achieves 192kHz/24Bit playback, which is 6.5 times the amount of digital audio data in a standard CD or digital streaming service and exceeds the standard High-Resolution spec of 96kHz/24Bit found in most aftermarket sound solutions.
This allows Alpine Status to capture and accurately reproduce details like the breath of the artist or a musician’s subtle interaction with an instrument. Furthermore, this capability not only reproduces music to the artist’s original intention but emulates the experience of a studio recording in the vehicle.
