Alpine has developed a range of Perfect Fit solutions to function with the BT-50 specifically. The Alpine ILX-407A is designed to provide the ultimate experience for smartphone users, all while unleashing an array of audio-visual and connectivity capabilities in an ultra-compact 2.4” deep chassis.
With its stunning display and smartphone-like gesture control, you can command the system with ease and customise the screen to exactly the way you want it. By using drag-and-drop motions you can move over 29 available widgets, change the GUI colour and even add your own wallpaper.
Steering Wheel Controls
Have control of the factory steering wheel audio controls in your vehicle, as well as answer and hang up with Alpine’s built in Bluetooth connectivity.
Reverse Camera Retention
The rear-view camera automatically engages when reversing and also mutes audio so you can manoeuvre your vehicle safely with full concentration.

APPLE CarPlay
The Alpine iLX-407A “Works with Apple CarPlay” and lets iPhone users make and receive calls, access text messages, play music, and get directions in a way that allows them to stay focused on the road. Apple CarPlay is accessed through the capacitive touch screen or the mic button to activate Siri voice control and is compatible with iPhone 5 and later (iPhone must be connected via an Apple lightning cable).
ANDROID AUTO
The Alpine iLX-407A includes Android Auto and works with the Google Assistant (requires both a USB cable and Bluetooth® connection; requires an Android™ phone running 5.0 [Lollipop] or higher and the Android Auto app). To access the Google Assistant on Android Auto, say "OK Google" or select the mic button. Google Assistant in Android Auto allows users to play their favourite music, get driving directions to their destination, interact with smart home devices and reply to text messages – hands-free.
Smartphone Navigation
Use your Alpine iLX-407A with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto-compatible navigation apps to get you to your next adventure. There are many excellent navigation apps available (such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, etc) that also include live-traffic information and advanced search functions.
Sygic
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allow the user to effortlessly command directions through voice control, allowing you to get from A to B with an accurate arrival time and turn-by-turn instructions. Plus, make a booking or call ahead with the location contact feature.
Waze
Available when using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the Waze app provides a unique navigation experience offering alternative routes to save you time. Waze also provides real-time feeds reported by fellow Waze users to inform them of upcoming traffic, road hazards, camera alerts and police stops.
Built-In DAB+ (Digital Radio Tuner)
The built-in DAB+ tuner uses the most advanced digital technology to deliver radio reception with outstanding, noise-free sound quality. DAB+ also offers many other advantages over traditional FM radio: choose from a much wider range of radio stations and after the initial station scan easily select your desired channels from an alphabetic or genre list of available stations.

While using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the Tidal app lets you stream your favourite songs in high-quality audio. Tidal is a paid subscription.
