The Focal ES 165 K Car Audio Kit includes two 6.5" woofers and two 20mm TKM tweeters, offering a compact and easy-to-install audio solution. The speaker drivers utilise Focal K2 Power Kevlar® cones, which deliver extremely dynamic sound and perfect definition. These cones feature the ideal qualities of lightness, rigidity, and excellent damping, and they incorporate the new TMD suspension. Originally developed for Sopra high-fidelity loudspeakers, this exclusive suspension design eliminates unwanted resonances and reduces distortion effects.
The two TKM inverted dome tweeters, made from aramid fibres, boast an exclusive “M”-shaped profile designed to control dome deformation. This design ensures precise and smooth reproduction of high frequencies up to 22 kHz. Their compact crossovers install quickly and set up easily.
The kit includes various accessories for assembling the tweeters, allowing you to install them in factory locations, on tilting frames, or flush-mounted.

The K2 Power Kevlar® cone, a product of unique expertise Made In Focal, is to this day second to none. Composed of an ultra-light foam structure sandwiched between a thin layer of Kevlar® aramid fibres and a layer of glass fibres. The K2 Power cone combines three key factors of quality acoustics: Rigidity / Lightness / Damping, for precise and dynamic sound.
NEW “M”-SHAPED TWEETER For a precise and smooth high end
The new K2 Power TKM tweeter features an exclusive “M”-shaped structure. This new-generation aramid fibre inverted dome tweeter provides great precision in the very high end. Its combination with a “push-pull” motor with IAL2 technology extends the low end of the frequency response. Providing extraordinary harmonic balance.
