6.5" TWO-WAY COMPONENT KIT
The Focal ES 165 K2 kit is composed of two 6½" (165 mm) woofers and has a very high sensitivity (92.8 dB/oct). The speaker drivers of the Focal ES 165 K2 kit feature the K2 Power line’s famous yellow Kevlar® cones. Light, rigid and with excellent damping, they provide extremely dynamic sound and perfect definition. Paired with the new TMD suspension, there’s no distortion whatsoever. The phase plug in the centre of the cone improves sound dispersion around the vehicle.
The two 'M'-shaped aramid-fiber TKM inverted dome tweeters reproduce the treble, equipped with high-fidelity bi-amplified crossovers. They deliver high frequencies up to 22 kHz with precision and smoothness.

The K2 Power Kevlar® cone, a product of unique expertise Made In Focal, is to this day second to none. Composed of an ultra-light foam structure sandwiched between a thin layer of Kevlar® aramid fibres, and a layer of glass fibres, the K2 Power cone combines three key factors of quality acoustics: Rigidity / Lightness / Damping, for precise and dynamic sound.


NEW “M”-SHAPED TWEETER For a precise and smooth high end
The new K2 Power TKM tweeter features an exclusive “M”-shaped structure. This new-generation aramid-fibre inverted dome tweeter provides great precision in the very high end, and its combination with a “push-pull” motor with IAL2 technology extends the low end of the frequency response and provides extraordinary harmonic balance.
For improved reliability - AN OPTIMISED CROSSOVER
Engineers specifically selected and optimised the components for the new K2 Power crossovers to improve control over heat dissipation. These components, essential for managing various channels and the soundstage, are now even more reliable.
