A revolution in in-car audio, the FRAK tweeter is a Focal exclusive. With a unique frequency response, it has an ‘M’-profile aluminium/magnesium cone and incorporates patented technologies to give your system unprecedented dynamics. Aluminium makes it possible to obtain a rigid cone for good frequency lowering, while magnesium provides superb damping and, by its lightness, allows the tweeter to perform brilliantly in the extreme treble. The Frak tweeter is a perfect pairing with the other products from the K2 Power M range, delivering pure, hi-fi, in-car sound.

With these active K2 Power M products, you can build your own “à la carte” audio system, to create the system you really want. These powerful products are also ultra-compact for easy installation into all cabins.

Manufactured in France, the K2 Power M line includes a midrange speaker (3 KM), a woofer (6.5 KM), a subwoofer (SUB 5 KM) and a tweeter (FRAK). These powerful and active products are also ultra-compact for easy installation into all cabins.

Just like the Utopia M line, the K2 Power M range offers an “à la carte” audio system. No off-the-shelf kits, just individual pieces: choose what you want from the range of speaker drivers on offer and create your own, bespoke system.

The ‘M’-profile combined with the K2 sandwich cone offers even better frequency response, improved sound dispersion, and reduces speaker driver depth while maintaining the signature K2 sound.

ZERO DISTORTION

Developed for the Sopra line of hi-fi loudspeakers, our TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) surround ® has a unique profile, designed to control the effects of resonance better and to reduce the distortion associated with deformations of the cone drastically. The speaker driver takes advantage of this patented tuned mass damper (TMD) by spreading better-defined and very realistic midranges.

BESPOKE SYSTEM

Just like the Utopia M line, the K2 Power M range offers an “à la carte” audio system. Installers are free to choose from the speaker drivers on offer to create their own, bespoke system.
