THE MOBILE APP :
Download and open the APP on your smartphone to log on using your tracker's IMEI number (ID number) & password.
If you have multiple trackers, you can create a user account to view all trackers simultaneously or individually.
Real-time shows you the current or last reported location, compared to your phone's current location.
It is displayed on the APP's own maps - map or satellite view.
The APP is a powerful tool that allows you to locate, monitor, track and control your GPS tracker.
THE ONLINE WEBSITE:
With the online website, you use the exact login details as the mobile APP. Again, the website is free to use. No Access Charges from Mongoose
The website is typically used for more detailed tracking information than the smartphone app, as well as for printing travel reports. Otherwise, the mobile APP is used most of the time as it is so convenient.

Tracking History
'History' playback allows you to select any day up to 6 months ago so you can see where the tracker travelled.
You can playback at different speeds, pause and zoom in to see more map detail. map or satellite view.
GEO-FENCE SET ON WEBSITE
A 'geo-fence' creates an invisible boundary. When the tracker moves in or out of the area, you’ll receive a text alert! You can easily set a 'geo-fence' by moving the pointer around the map and adjusting a slider to define the boundary size.
You can set multiple areas.
The Mongoose 4G VT4G GPS Vehicle tracker will also give playback history of where that vehicle was and specific time and date, plus driving information such as speed, Ignition status, time parked and other details.
You have the option to connect the VT4G to your vehicle's Security System to get an SMS TEXT alert if your Alarm gets triggered with the SP904 Security Pack
As well as the SOS Siren Trigger Alert, you also have the option to immobilise your vehicle starter motor via VT4G with SP904 Security Pack.
The features of the SP904 Security Pack may not be compatible with all vehicles and require installation by a professionally qualified Technician

Where is it now?
Open the APP and click "Real-time". The map shows the location of your vehicle.
Where was it?
History shows the route-driven. Select 'play' and the screen shows the route taken.
Select any day - the last 6 months' history is always maintained.
Got more than one vehicle?
You can request a login with your own username and password. Just apply for a Fleet account. View all your vehicles simultaneously. Select individual vehicles to see more details.
Any other costs?
To use the Mongoose VT4G GPS tracker, simply insert a mobile SIM card into the device. This action enables the tracker to send the collected data to the website, where you can easily view it!. This SIM card is not included.
Typical SIM costs on PrePaid options often range from $2.00 to $10.00 per month, depending on usage.. A Prepaid plan can be the least expensive, but could you discuss options with your mobile provider?
OPTION EXTRA SECURITY PACK SP904
SOS-SIREN ALERT
If your vehicle has a security system with a siren, you can connect it to the VT4G! When the VT4G gets a notification that the siren has been triggered, it will send a text message warning directly to one or two mobile phone numbers you've set up. Stay alert and take control! The SMS text message will contain the SOS alert details, and it will also send you a link to the Mongoose VT4G map location.
The SOS-SIREN ALERT can also be used in standard mode, just like a PRESS button, to trigger the VT904 to send the SOS ALERT.
ENGINE STARTER IMMOBILISER
Via APP or Text message, you can immobilise your vehicle's Engine Starter motor. This requires the installation of the Relay to the engine starter. Once you send the command, the relay will be activated or deactivated.
**The Engine Starter immobiliser may not be suitable for all vehicles. It requires installation by a Professional Qualified Technician**
