When the radar detects a moving object within the range, the Dash Cam will switch off the energy-saving mode and ready for impact recording. If an impact has been detected within 30 seconds, the Dash Cam will save 20 seconds video of before and after the impact. If no impact is detected within the next 30 seconds, the Dash Cam will automatically switch back to energy-saving mode.
- Radar motion detection requires an optional radar module, and is only enabled in energy-saving mode.
- A sedan or greater sized vehicle can be detected.
- Due to the nature of Ultra-high Frequency radiation, the distance and degree of detection can be different.

SUPER NIGHT VISION 2.0

GEO-FENCING
Geo-fencing allows drivers to stay alert of vehicle location. Whether your vehicle goes in/outside of a certain radical area, U1000 will send you a push notification through a mobile app, THINKWARE CLOUD. This is more practical for parents, rental companies, and fleet management. The radius can be set by typing the address or by using a point on the mobile app. You may set 20 different radical areas with a size from 100m up to 600km.
LOCATE VEHICLE
Locate Vehicles will help drivers to find the vehicle’s current location. The Thinkware U1000 will update its current location every 10 seconds. Then it will display the current location with speed and the heading direction integrated on Google Maps.
STRONG IMPACT NOTIFICATION
In the event of a crash, the alert feature can help the driver to notify others of an emergency situation when the driver is not in the condition to do so. The family of the owner of the car can then remotely check on the situation from their location. When the car experiences an impact with a g-force level greater than 3g or 4g while driving, the Dash Cam will automatically send a push notification alert of the impact to the user’s smartphone logged in to the THINKWARE CLOUD app. A 20-second video of the incident, including 10 seconds before and after the event, is saved on the THINKWARE CLOUD server. The user receives a push notification about the video, which can be viewed later and downloaded from the app. Impact Notification Video: Up to 100 downloads per month (Reset on every 1st day of the month)
** No new videos can be recorded while saving the 20 seconds of the first impact file.
*** When a second or third impact occurs, users receive an instant push notification alerting them to this new event. Notably, if these impacts happen within 10 seconds of the initial one, they are seamlessly integrated into the remaining seconds of the first impact file. For instance, if a second impact is detected just 2 seconds after the first, users will see a captivating 8-second video highlighting that subsequent impact.

TIME LAPSE
Important clips and images may be lost due to insufficient memory during extended recordings, particularly in standard parking mode, which requires substantial memory to save 15 to 30 frames per second.
TIME LAPSE MODE
The U1000 records 2 frames per second reducing the size of the video file. This allows video recordings in parking mode to last up to 16 times longer than other dash cams. To activate the parking recording mode, simply install the U1000 using the included hardwiring cable. It’s an easy way to enhance your vehicle’s security!
SAFETY CAMERA ALERT

ROAD SAFETY WARNING SYSTEM
The THINKWARE DASH CAM U1000 includes advanced safety features like Lane Departure Warning, Front Collision Warning, and Urban Front Collision Warning. Additionally, it offers the Front Vehicle Departure Warning (FVDW), providing crucial voice alerts to enhance driver safety and awareness on the road.
Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)
Drowsy or distracted driving greatly increases the chance of an accident on the road. The Lane Departure Warning System will alert the driver when the vehicle goes off lane in a speed over 50 km/h.
High Speed / Urban Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS/ uFCWS)
By keeping a safe distance between vehicles, we can significantly reduce the risk of accidents. The Road Safety Warning System in the U1000 calculates the real-time distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you, while driving above 30 km/h in expressways or under 30 km/h in a busy city, and issues a 3-level early warning to the driver depending on the danger of collision.
Front Vehicle Departure Warning (FVDW)
When your car is at a standstill in traffic or at a red light, the advanced guidance system alerts you as soon as the vehicle ahead begins to move. This timely notification ensures you won't miss the opportunity to accelerate, enhancing your responsiveness and overall driving experience.

WIDE DYNAMIC RANGE
When you are driving under bright sunlight, coming out of a tunnel, or getting under the shadow of a tall building, etc, a sudden change in frontal light exposure levels can result in excessively bright or dark recordings. The WDR function eliminates excessively bright spots on the recording to correct its colour balance in order to ensure a clear image.
AUTOMATIC EXPOSURE
A sudden rise of light exposure caused by strong sunlight or headlight beams of oncoming vehicles may cause difficulties in assessing the situation. Also, lack of lighting in a dark tunnel or night driving may pose the same problem. The automatic light exposure function controls the level of light exposure to maintain vivid and clear video recordings in all circumstances.
