Universal radio replacement interface compatible with vehicles 2001 and up. Maestro RR2 connects with iDatalink-compatible Alpine/Kenwood radios to enhance multimedia. It also provides gauges, vehicle information, parking assistance, and climate control. It keeps all your favourite factory infotainment features, like steering wheel controls and voice commands.
The iDatalink Maestro AUS-MRR2 module, in conjunction with the appropriate interface harness for your specific vehicle, enables you to seamlessly install a new car stereo in a variety of late-model Chrysler, Fiat, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Subaru, Toyota, and Volkswagen vehicles. This allows you to retain your steering wheel audio controls and other factory conveniences that you have become accustomed to. The setup process is quick and easy, taking only a few minutes via Bluetooth from your smartphone or other compatible device, representing a significant improvement over previous models.
Therefore, in addition to the Maestro ADS-MRR2 module, you will also require a Maestro vehicle-specific wiring harness to connect your new receiver to the module and, consequently, your vehicle's wiring system.

Retains steering wheel audio controls
The AUS-MRR2 module lets you use your new receiver's factory steering wheel audio controls. Using the intuitive web programming interface, each factory button can be assigned a specific radio function. Better yet, you can also assign a secondary "press and hold" radio function to each factory button, effectively doubling the number of functions that can be controlled. Updating the module's firmware and software via a wireless Bluetooth connection is simple.
Command center
The idataLINK Maestro AUS-MRR2 features three programmable outputs, which allow you to control relay-driven aftermarket accessories from an iDatalink Serial Port-compatible Alpine, Kenwood and JVC, in-dash receiver. These outputs can be individually configured to Latch, Toggle, Follow a CAN signal in the car (firmware dependent), or have a custom output configuration, as well as setting Delay On and Delay Off times for each output. You can also assign a steering wheel control button from the vehicle to control one of these outputs. The ADS-MRR2 also features a dedicated port for radar detector integration that allows you to connect to select Escort radar detectors (sold separately).
